Depending on where in the world you may live, will depend on what is available to fund your wheelchair accessible motorcycle project.
Modifying a vehicle can be very expensive and out of reach for most people. In most places, you can purchase a motorcycle for under $10,000 AUD and maybe as cheap as $3,000 AUD. Trikes will usually cost more than $25,000 AUD up to $40,000.
A wheelchair accessible trike could cost up to $70,000. A wheelchair accessible sidecar can be cheaper, usually between $15,000 – $25,000.
The high cost is due to the requirement, for an engineer to complete the work, to have the modification approved for use on the road. This is also necessary to have insurance cover in the unfortunate event of an accident.
There are some countries where you may modify your own motorcycle, build and attach your own sidecar, however these countries are not many.
So I thought it would be a good idea to create a page on this website to list where people can obtain funding to build their dream motorcycle.
If you know of any not listed, please share below, that others may also have their dreams come true.

You will usually find that organizations will only fund projects that are carried out by a qualified engineer or fabricator. So if you think you will be doing all the work yourself, you may need to fund your own project.
If you know of any organizations or if you represent an organization that would be interested in funding a disability motorcycle modification, please comment and/or add your contact details below.
